Hi all From Nebraska. new 2000 Blazer owner
hi all, newbie here. I figured I would ask the experts about this Blazer I'm buying:
here is the story:
it is a 2000 Chevy Blazer with 62,550 miles.
4.3 V6 Vortec engine
Everything works, Immaculate interior/exterior.
Great tread left on the tires.
talked him down to $2,700
it Has been in a crash, well, it hit a deer.(drivers side front damage) but that is fixed.
when the owner decided to fix the damage he liked the GMC front clip better then the Blazer clip because of the smoother looking lines and to keep with the "black out" design, so he put that on it.
I took it to a mechanic and they said everything looked great.
the only issue I could tell was the air wasn't cold (they agreed to fix it, no charge)
and it sounded like a Donut gasket was going out on the passenger side (noticed that when I romped it into high)
I tested the 4x4 on a dirt mound 'hill', and water.
I also took it on the interstate. (gears shifted perfect)
so, do You think $2,700 is a good deal?

Looks like a great deal to me. Of course I'm also the person that paid 2000 for my K5... I'd pay anything for a Blazer, lol.
