Default Hi everybody, I am a new member with a one owner 1985 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 2 wheel dr

I bought my Blazer brand new in September 1985 from Capitol Chevrolet in Montgomery Alabama for $11,700 with the 2.8 liter carbureted non feedback motor with a 4-speed manual ISUZU transmission with the 7.5 in 3:42 gears in rear end. Since then I am now on my third V8 conversion I now have a 388 stroker backed up to a turbo hydramatic 350 transmission and I am now wanting to switch back to a manual, actually to a T56 if I can make it work.

Welcome to the Blazer Forum.

So, it's still the 1985 body you bought and with the third V8? Nice work.

Yes , the body has 118,000 miles one it . The current motor I had professional built by a race engine shop . I had cylinder heads so I mainly needed a short block with my specs . Of course using after market aluminum cylinder heads forced me to find a guy to hand make the 1 7/8 primary pipes and 3 inch pipes to the rear with Magnaflow mufflers . Just recently updated the fuel system from fuel pump to carb . But I miss slamming gears so would like to switch to a T-56 tranny .From my current TH-350 with a B&M 3000 stall and valve body mods . It has lived since 1990 .

Yes, I will post some soon and by the way I've been showing it since 1993 and I have accumulated 52 trophies over the years at different car shows.

I am looking for some hard to find parts for it like brand new or in good shape rear glass hinges without the air deflector I want to delete the air deflector on mine and go back to original hinges. Can't seem to find any.

If you have removed the rear deflector, would you be willing to sell the hinges and the deflector?
