Default Hi from Germany

Hey folks,

my name is Martin. I´m 28 years old and currently deployed in Germany. I´m with the US Forces.
Yesterday i´ve bought a 1999 Blazer LT 4wd from a german friend. It is in pretty good condition as far as i can tell. It only has 76k mls on it.
It´s got Cragar wheels with Center Caps, 235 tires and tinted windows. It never had to haul a trailer, it doesn´t have a hitch.
In the next days i´m jacking it up and look trough all the technical stuff. At least as far as i can do it myself.

Only fault that meets the eye is a missing or broken headlight washer on the passenger side.

Are there any common problems with this Blazer or things that should get special attention (technical or electrical wise)?

Pictures will follow as soon as i go it cleaned up.

Cheers

Martin

Must be a Euro export feature. I've never seen those on a U.S. version.

Yeah it´s a export. It even has those Raodside Assistance stickers with a german toll free number. Those headlight washers came factory installed. But to me it´s only a cosmetic issue because i doubt that they will effectively clean the headlights. It just looks kinda weird to have just one of them rising out from the bumper underneath the headlight.

And japanese! We've got them on the LT's down here too. (must've been a demand for them in Japan - or GM just made them different for the export market).

Can't honestly see them making a difference!

I just bought it a few days ago so there´s a little work to be done first. The A/C issue for instance and some new tires. F+++ing snow over here...
And then there´s a inspection to be done before i go fast.

But after that... Muhahahaha
