You made me chuckle with that remark ! I agree ! It's crazy how Three major nations speak the same language differently ! The USA is the youngest so I guess we are the ones who speak with an accent ! I hope you get many smiles per tank.

My understanding is that if the vehicle is 30 yo it can stay LHD but must be in standard form as built new. Then it qualifies for historic reg'n.
If the vehicle is less than 30yo but built before Jan 1989 it cab be converted to RHD without an ADR Compliance Plate.
If it was built after Jan 89, it can be converted to RHD but must have a Compliance Plate fitted.
These can only be fitted by accredited converters who have an expensive licence to do so.
