I forgot my intro....
Hey guys, I've been a member since April, but I forgot to give my hello on here. With the understanding that I was deployed to Iraq at the time, I hope you will give me the chance to say HI now.
I have a 2002 4dr 4x4 with about 130,000 miles on it. It is currently my daily driver, but I am working on upgrading it to my off-roading truck. While I was in Iraq, my therapy to remain sane was to shop online for parts for the truck and I spent the first month back installing everything. Outside, I put on a Hunter brush guard, Surco roof rack (w/ spare carrier), 6 x Hella 500 lights up front, and KC back up lights in the back. Under the hood I put a Volant CAI, Jet MAF, Airaid TBS, MSD ignition coil and wires, Pulstar Plugs, and an Optima Yellow Top Battery. My goal here is to improve my dwindiling MPG with the side effect of more HP. So far so good, but the last step is my Hypertech Max Energy Programmer. I am letting the comp learn all the new stuff, then I am going to hit it with the programmer.
My next step is a body and susp lift once I wear down the new snow tires that were put on before I left. I hope to get 33's on with no issue.
I have spent my time off going through this forum and I have found more help that I could ever find anywhere else on the net. I am glad to be here and hopefully will be able to help someone out in the future.
