Welcome to the forum, glad to have you!! You have more then the 4.3 and 5.3 for engine options to have and any engine you swap into it no matter what you can keep your 4wd!! What uti campus are you going to attend at??

Pretty much the only thing that limits which engine you put in, is how much money you want to spend.

orlando i'm new to 4x4s so i dont know that much i want to keep my 4x4 so i could build up any of the ls blocks

It doesn't matter which engine you go for, they can ALL keep your 4x4... It's just easier with a 350.
