Kansas City Blazer Man
I've been a member for about 2 days now. I joined the forum so I can get in touch with other Blazer owners. I've got an 89 S10 Blazer, it's got a fair share of rust on the fenders and along the bottom. I bought the truck for $650 from some teenager. It's been a beast. I've been through mud holes and some really deep snow. It appears stock with over 200k on it. It was just a cheap toy at first but now I'm in love with it's power to weight ratio. It's still a rust bucket so I've got some work to do a head of me. One of my projects this sumer is to cut the rust out and patch it, and cut the top off of the thing (patch up the windows and make it reusable)to make it look like a K10. Because of all therust andpatches I'll be puting on this thinkI think I'll go with a roll-on bedliner for a paint job, cheezy maybe, durable for sure.I've got a 406 chevysmall block sitting in my garage.I've got a fewEdelbrock parts for it and some fat exuast.I was thinking about sliding this in the truck as well. It might be too much work and money to put it in the Blazer but we'll see. Bigtires will be a must, something around 33" and street legal.I'll start posing pictures once I start making progress. Oh and thanks to all who have helped me get my truck running once again. I'll see you around.
