I've been looking around for a few weeks on here and figured I should introduce myself since I'm not ever getting rid of my blazer. She's a 2000 2 door LS 4x4 and I love it! I have a few things that need to be fixed on her before I go extreme with the mods and lift. First off the gas gauge has never worked properly since I've owned it, it has a gangster lean going on on the passenger rear and I have nasty rust holes behind the doors on the rocker panels. I also just found out a week or so ago that if I try and round to the next dollar while filling up gas pukes from what looks like the top of the fuel pump maybe??? If any of you have had this issue PLEASE HELP!! I plan on a mild lift to tuck 31's and thats prolly all I'll do lifting wise for a while. If you're in the KCMO area hit me up and we'll go get muddy!

Welcome from Alberta.

Regarding the suspension lean, it's most likely caused by saggy or broken leafs in the leaf pack. Check the pack to see if any of the leafs are broken or cracked. The most likely place is right at the centering bolt. If none are broken you can either replace the whole pack or do an add-a-leaf to stiffen things up. A good option for this is to find a long leaf at the wreckers that will fit the full length of the main leaf from eye to eye.

Regarding your fuel leak, you'll have to check and make sure that the fuel pump is secured down properly. There's a snap ring that holds the pump in. That might be missing. Most likely you'll have to drop the tank to fix the problem.

Hey Sparky. Sorry about not getting with you over the weekend to go to KS Rocks. Too much rain, so we didn't even go. I got my add a leaf and am going to try to fix the same rear-end sag that you've got. In a couple of weeks, I'll be dropping the tank to see about the puking gas at fill up issue too. We have the same truck and same problems with it and same ideas on lift and tires. Still haven't found a place closer to KC to go wheeling yet.
