Default Long Time Chevy, first time Blazer

Hi everyone. My name is Dave. I live in Torrance CA. My first car was a 74 Camaro. Then a 86 IROC-Z. Sold it to Japan and bought an Acura Integra 5M. Drove that for 20 years. Got a Hyundai Tucson 6M. Retired. Got a 2017 Chevy SS 6M for my retirement car, but didn't want to daily driver it so I got a 2021 Blazer. Found this forum.

Thanks Christine. I can see this forum is more about the old school Blazer. I should take a photo of my neighbor's S10 Blazer and claim it as mine to blend in better. haha

Nice blazer! The new ones really are starting to grow on me for a pavement pounder lol...

But I gotta say, I'm WAY more into that tree in the background!!

Which tree? The one's across the street or the one on my parkway that you can't see the branches, but can in the hood reflection?
I really like the new Blazer 2LT. It has the same HP as the RS, but not all the BS features that cost extra and you never really use. I can park, I don't need a video rear view mirror, android auto can navigate, and AWD isn't really AWD like the Audi/Subaru AWD, so you don't get the handling of AWD on everyday normal traction driving. It's the mama bear bed of SUV's.

The one that reflects in the hood... kinda resembles a set of massive antlers

It's called a Chinese Elm tree. Sheds all it's leaves in the fall. Pretty messy. Small leaves get into rain gutters and car vents. It doesn't look nice as other foliage trees. The city planted it and I would prefer an evergreen instead. I wouldn't recommend it.
