Default On My 3rd S10

I'm new to the this forum and live in northern IL. I always buy used vehicles and bought my first S10 type in 1995 which was a 1991 GMC Jimmy 4x4, 2 door. In 2000 I got an excellent condition 1992 4x4 S10 Blazer, 4 door. Both of those vehicles had the same problems at the same milage. At 155k miles mpg plummeted, gas tanks also started to leak and of course at that milage the upper ball joints went.
Last week I bought a 1999 GMC SLT Jimmy 4x4 with 79900 miles for $4480 out the door from adealer. It has brand new Goodyear Wranglers and has hadone upper ball joint replaced. It's white with leather int. andglass sun roof. The drivers seat shows very little wear and the 1 owner was a non smoker. It was bought new in northern Indiana.
I hope its a good vehicle because I don't have money for major repairs. I don't really care about fancy rides I just want it to be dependable and have 4 wheel drive.
BTW:As wienerdog I am also on ar15.com and am more of a gun guy than a car guy. I likeJimmy/Blazers because they have space for my rifles, ammo, targets etc.

Thanks
