Default my new 95 that needs a new CFI

i just bought a 95 LS. i knew ahead of time that i was going to have to replace the spider injection. ive been looking around town and all i can find is $300-$500. i read on here with the CMFI there is a newer model that is a direct replacement to the older model. is there such a thing for the CFI ? also where can i find one for cheaper then $500. if i have to order it online ill do it to save money. especially if it is the newer model that is better.

Welcome. Please post your questions in the appropriate tech section for tech related help! Run a search on 'CPI spider' first though. This question has been answered before. The updated spider is not for the older CPI motor, but for the newer SCFI motor. Check out Lindertech.com for an all inclusive CPI replacement kit.

Odd... We do not have any restrictions for where new members can post.
