New from Alabama...
Well, the name is James. I'm in North-Eastern Alabama with the wife and two boys. I'm a certified, genuine, guaranteed car freak. If it has wheels an engine and some way of controlling it, I'm interested. I have owned my share of rides...from a 88 Z24 cavy, 96 Nissan 4WD pickup, to my current daily..2004 Lancer Ralliart.
Long story short...I saved my 98 LT from the Father-in-Law about a year ago. It had the notorious fuel pressure issue and he parked it. It sat for almost two years, and I offered to take it off his hands when he mentioned scrapping it.
Its only a 2WD, but I'm not big into the rocker-deep mud, boulder crawling or climbing a vertical wall....I just wanted a simple rig (if you can even call it that) for hunting trips and weekend camping trips.
I have only recently started the build process on this thing...and will be posting a build thread soon. I look forward to gaining any input or ideas for this weekend project, as well as doing what I can to contribute.

Well, I usually only hunt Management days here in the national forests. The roads and trails are fairly well kept...they're a little loose...but nothing terrible
