Just purchased a 98 LS today. It's in pretty rough shape inside, and I'm sure I'll be lurking and asking questions. So far need to transfer the tires off my blown F150 to replace the mixed matched tires. Then I need to start sorting out the electrical gremlins such as the mirrors, the odo, drive indicator gage lights, sun roof, rear wiper.
Lot of plastic inside is busted. Doors, in rear cargo area.. but for $500 and a 72 skylark with a bad tranny figure if it lasts me a year without any major problems should be worth it.
What a day, eye doc said I was due for bi focals already and now a new project.

Sorry, been busy chasing down codes and all kinds of other problems with this thing. I'm from New Mexico.
There is no wires even going to the mirrors I found out. Among other interesting oddities that the PO had done to it.
My $500 blazer is now up to around $1400 and still counting.
