New Blazer owner from Oregon
Well, it's actually my wife's Blazer! She wanted a backup, tow, camping vehicle because her 2009 Smart car is none of those. She found a 1996 Blazer in good shape, and bought it for $1000. It does have some interior issues, but the body, engine and 4X4 all are in very good shape. It just needs a tune up and an oil/trans fluid change. Overall it's a nice truck!
Thanks for letting me be part of this forum! I hope to gain some knowledge since I o all the vehicle maintenence!
Here is a quick photo:
The wheels will get replaced with factory wheels ASAP. Unfortunately It has a cheesy body kit. Factory front bumper is MIA. You can't tell in the photo, but it has two-tone paint. The bottom is darker and it fades to the lighter, factory paint job. Ghetto fabulous!! After I tackle all the mechanical issues I will be removing the body kit and paint!
