Calgary, Alberta--busy reading threads here as time allows and already learning a bunch so I won't ask too many stupid questions that have been answered in the past..lol

Nice! There's a few remaining k5 owners around, notice mostly 2nd gen owner, but we are willing to help the best we can!

Looking foward to seeing your ride and hearing about plans with her/him

Welcome to the forum. Nice to see full-size Blazers on here.

I've owned a couple of K5s (including an '88) and a bunch of other squarebody Chevys, so hopefully I'll be able to help you if you run into problems.

Thank you Tom-what a nice offer! I hope I don't find any terrible problems but just diving in--so far--speedo is iffy, all power windows and tailgate controls have glitches (but do operate-just not properly-lol) cruise control has the odd hickup--I think it is vacuum so..?) Otherwise mechanically it appears like it has good bones....typical minor rust on 1/4s and wheel wells but those parts seem to be available.. Crossing my fingers and diving in! At 77 years old I hope I live long enuff to finish-lol
