Hey everyone. New guy here. Recently had to purchase this diamond in the rough after losing my previous family ride (04 GMC Envoy) in a serious accident I was blessed to walk away from. Thing is I'm in the final process of purchasing my first home so the accident came at a bad time. All my money is tied into my house and didn't have any extra for a new family vehicle. My father came across this little Blaze in his travels and told me about it. I'm a fan of the Blazer platform (owned a 91 4dr Blazer right out of high school) but I was skeptical of purchasing a 22 year old Blazer as a family/daily ride. But at $1500 it was a great price so I checked it out. I was surprised when I met the seller and he showed me the deal breaker. The chassis and body had 174,433 miles on it but the engine only had 80,000 miles and the transmission one 40,000 miles. Plus it has a 2" torsion key/shackle lift and a straight pipe exhaust. When he started it I was in love!!!.....Had it 3 weeks now and I've already put over 1,000 everyday miles on it. All I've done so far is recharge the AC for these hot summer days and put in a new air filter. I noticed the catalytic converter is starting to take a dump but it still drives great. Will be tackling that when I get a chance. I'm really happy with it. God gave me a blessing out of a bad situation. I got plans for some upgrades in the future so stay tune.....
