Default New- From Florida.

Hey Ya'll. I'm Justin, I'm just north of Tampa, Florida. My new ride is a 2001 GMC Jimmy, 2door, 2wd SLS, sunroof.

I owned a 94' Maro for abuot a year, v6 with a M5, was a great little car. Then I stepped up into a 1999 Pontiac Firebird, 3800 V6 A4, while not as ufn as the maro, it was a hell of alot nicer. After some recent injuries... I wasn't able to drive the Firebird anymore, I just couldn't get in it.

So last week I was looking around, and I came across my 01' out in Dade City, about 20 miles away. I went out, and got a heck of a good deal on it. One owner, reg maintenance, really well taken care of. And, it was bone stock.

And of course, with my modding hands twitching like crazy, only 2 nights after bringing her home, I started to tear into her and start modding.

First off was the Audio. I have a Pioneer DEH-2900MP Headunit up front [Only temp until I can get a indash 6.5" touch screen], and Rockford Fosgate speakers all around, Kenwood 600watt dual channel/1200watt bridged amp with a Pioneer Competition Sub in the trunk. As of now, it's just sitting in a friend's enclosure until I can finish my custom fiberglass one I custom fitted to the little cubby hole/wheel well on the passenger side rear.

After the audio, I got a pair of HID 10,000 Bulbs. Soon I plan to replace these with a higher burn rate, but for now they'll do.

I also just ordered the Cold Air Intake too. And a couple other goodies...

I was looking around and I didn't see any GMC Jimmy forums... so I figured I'd just join here.

I've been on FullThrottleV6.Com alot, its a great site for all GM V6's.

I'll be sticking around for awhile, and brining everyone thought my customization process on it. It's going to be far from stock.
