hello everyone


I have a 95 blazer 4.3l 2dr 4x4 blazer. I am looking at swapping the trans as od is slippin like crazy. It is 4l60e Iam curious what i can use to replace it i have been told only a 95 4l60e will work why not a 94 or 96 ???? if so any boy have one for sale

Not positive, but I think 94 is considered a 1st gen. and 95 is a 2nd gen. and the 95 is obd1 and in 96 they switched to obd2. So that might be why, but I'm not 100% positive.

yep 94 was last year before the body style change so still 1st gen (love mine, never have liked the 95+ body style as much but thats just my personal preference) and iirc it's posted elsewhere in this forum that 94 has a 4l60 as opposed to the 4l60e tranny
