Default New guy here

Hello new poster but been lurking for a while. I'm working on an 01 s10 blazer 2wd. I'm in the process of building a 300 ish hp 4.3. I'm going with a narrowed 9 inch rear. Right now it's ready for paint while the motor is at the machinists. I have alot of interior to work on also. Just trying to save some fuel instead of dailying my 8.1 liter Silverado

Finally got it in color

Oooh! Interesting build. Be sure to keep.us updated in your progress. I'd be interested in how you get 300 hp out of our 4.3Ls.

Welcome to the forum!

So far I'm going. 030 over. Ported and polished heads, forged crank, 270° cam, flat top pistons, 1.52 roller rockers. I haven't figured out the intake yet or if I'm going with fuel injection or carb. It looks like hooker is my only choice for long tube headers. I have a narrowed 9 inch on order with stock Blazer disc brakes. Im hoping to build the 60e trans to handle it

Seen a video last night. Junk yard motor , re-ringed it. With a mild cam and a supercharger hit 450hp before they shut it down

Welcome!!

Buy these and build your engine around them. Heads are how you make power these days.

Nice project. I am interested in how you will save gas with 300 HP.
