old skool luvr,
it comes down to $$$/problems vs simplicity.
i have already scavenged a few computers/replacement parts and all of them after GM plays with swapping them out and trying to retune the truck yield the same results. I finally came across some folks who have done the conversion and the trucks run beautifully even with high mileage. I don't like a run around 4wd that I can't diagnose rather easily either... i can't diagnose the computer which controls the EFI and apparently this is a common problem on this particular model anyhow.... so... the EFI goes and the carb comes... pics will follow soon in the correct spot in the forums. -Andy
