Default New Guy here......

Just wanted to say hi. We recently got a used 2000 2WD, 4Dr, 6 cyl Blazer. 140 +/-K miles. So far its a decent truck. I read the "quirks" thread and have some of the same issues.

Welcome ! You have a great source for help here and many willing to give advice. Enjoy your Blazer and get the most out of it ! It is usually cheaper to fix it rather than to replace it. If you keep up on maintenance you will probably avoid the major repairs. Every once in a while put a pretend new car payment in a repair fund for the unforeseen repairs ( for me, the fuel pump ) and regular replacement items like tires, brakes, shocks and suspension that could pop up. Now go have some fun !
