New guy from PG, BC, Can
Was reading a thread about a 3" lift for a Jimmy got me so interested that I had to sign up as I am in the middle of "creating" my 1995 Blazin Jimmy, that is a 1995 S10 Jimmy (4 door, gotta bring my girls), with a 1998 blazer engine/trans/t-case. I got a t-bar/shackle lift awhile ago and haven't used it....yet. Read about the body lift and that was it!!! Its ALL going in by the end of this month!!! I traded the Jimmy for a 1987 K5 chassis, bought the Blazer for $200 (BRAND NEW Yokohama winters $1200 ALONE!!) and have the jimmys drive train out and got "stuck", really want to get it done, but something was holding me back.....until now. Will try and post pics of the rest of the journey. Cheers
Such as? was looking at the whole wiring harness and fuses for both, was thinking I might just rip the entire thing apart and "update" the Jimmy with ALL the interior and the drive train(with the exception of the front seats). Would probably take a good few weeks to exchange EVERYTHING that needs to be exchanged, i.e. wiring, dash, everything under the hood. I also have a set of 79-85 Toyota axles that I wanted to throw under it, but can't due to low cash flow at the moment. was wondering if I should? coilovers w/4link front/rear? leaf spring? opinions?
Cheers

Just got in from working on the Blazin' Jimmy. Took a few pics of the lift installed (took a day), the front end taken apart (2 1/2 hrs) and what the donor looks like. Sorry I forgot to take pics for the people that are interested, i'll remember to take more as I do the rest
I got cut off while doing the donor pic, I bought the 1998 Blazer for $200 (with brand new snow tires), then sold the engine from the Jimmy for $150, Will probably take a day to change the interiors over then another day to do the drivetrain and hook it all up.
Once its all done I have a shackle and t-bar keys to throw in when I find a set of shocks that will do for the suspension lift. Cheers
