Default New here! 88 S10

I am a new member here. I bought an 88 S10 Blazer from my brother not running. It had a blown 4.3 motor but had a near perfect body and interior. I located a donor motor out of a 93 van. It turned out to be a factory rebuilt motor. The mechanic who did the swap said he would be surprised if the motor had more than 70k on it as it was very clean and nothing worn much. During the swap it was discovered the fuel tank had a hole rusted through it from sitting so I replaced that too along with fuel pump and sender unit. During the swap I had everything replaced new, belts, hoses, gaskets..... well everything! After the swap it wasn't long before it needed tires as the old ones were dry rotted. So now it's sporting Goodyear Wranglers. This vehicle looks and drives great!
