New here, info on speaker wire?
Hello, I'm new here, and I own my second S series truck, a 98 blazer 4dr, 4.3 vortec w/2in real lift shackles in a few days on 31 BFG KM M/T Crager wheels etc. I'm putting in sony xplods (sound good to my ears) and everyone one that i have put in (passenger side door, dash, rear door, and drivers side rear door, work) the two that dont work are the drivers side door and dash. I am really not sure why I believed they worked before I put the new stereo in it and started hooking up the wire but I really don't believe its a stereo wiring problem because I checked that out already. I can provide any other details etc. Thank you in advance. Ill post pictures of my blazer when it finally gets lifted and the tires thrown on it.

welcome to the show, from Canada.
as for your stereo woes, take a poke around the Audio/Video Electronics section. there's a wealth of info in this place.

Thanks I figured it out, when the stereo was put in, the LF and LR wires are meant for the door and dash not the door and rear door of drivers side, i did not know that but should have since the whole drivers side is pretty much the same wires, so my white and green wires in the harness and stereo were hooked up opposite etc. But now I have sony xplods (cheap but the get the job i want done) in the doors(4) and dash and today I'll have a 700w sony 4/3/2 channel amp powering two focal auditor subs. This is my second s10, my first being a pickup (91) and I wanted sound in this one and itll have a 2in lift on 31 bfg km m/ts with crager wheels. Thats my ride, ill have pics soon. From Nebraska
