Hello all I found this site in search of some real help. Maybe one of you blazers have had this issue or know how to fix. I just dropped a carburated vortec in my blazer. Got it timed and it runs smoother than this beast ever has. Problem is after it shifts from first to second and so on the rims go low and when apply more skinny peddle it makes a god awful chattering noise. A bit about my truck; 350 vortec carb manifold by speedmaster, edelbrock 650, Hedman header, msd rotor and cap, 700r4, all electronics gutted and made into old school complete mechanical truck. Only electronic parts of the drive system are edelbrock mini fuel pump measures 4 - 7 psi, and a toggle switch for torque lock out, all wiring is brand new from relay to dash to lights. Inside the engine all I can say is I believe its a completely stock engine. Please if anyone can help I would be forever in your debt. Again it only does it at low rpms in 2,3,and D. High rpms makes no sound and runs smooth as a kitten.
