Greetings! Just joined and was happy to find the forum. I have a 1986 S-10 Blazer, 2 wd, automatic, that I bought used in 1987. I've had this all over the place. Took it on a family vacation in 1993 to Canada and back. It's MY ride to and from work, fishing, errands, etc. Don't plan on giving it up anytime soon. Recently had it painted, new seats and headliner before that. Am now working on putting in new carpet. My only problems with it in the 23 years I've owned it have been head gaskets, fuel pump and ball joints. Other than that and minor fixes it has been a great vehicle. We also have a 2000 GMC Jimmy that my wife drives.

Couple of questions:
(1) What is a good source for carpet for my vehicle? I've found several on-line. Haven't look locally yet. I live in North Orange Co., CA

(2) I just got 2 new hood hinge seals and am a bit confused on how to install. The new ones are nothing like the old ones that fell apart.

Glad to connect with other Blazer owners. Great vehicles!

Regards.

Pics are forthcoming. Right now I have the interior torn out awaiting new carpet. Can't really decide where to get the carpet. Stock Interiors looks pretty good, but ????. Also, my wheels right now are stock that the paint shop painted silver trying to match stock wheels. They aren't bad, but I'm not happy with them. My wife says "don't worry about it". She doesn't get it. :-)
