Hi everyone! New to the forum and on the quest for knowledge. I have 2 blazers actually. A '01 4 door 2wd with a K&N and Gibson cat back exhaust. And my baby a '91 s-10 blazer 2 door 4wd with 3" body lift, 33" tires, e-fan, headers, completely custom exhaust, new paint job, wheel spacers, list goes on... I need some technical help/opinions on an engine swap. Hopefully I can get out of "new member" stage soon so I can get some specific advise!

I have a 305 out of a '91 camaro and was wondering what all modifications I would have to do to get it in there. I've read I will need new motor mounts, but what make/part number/out of what model of vehicle? Also I want to get some headers in there but I can foresee a clearance issue with the steering shaft combined with the 3" body lift...
Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

welcome to the show brother, from Canada.
doesn't matter if you're a day memeber or not, if you need some help or info, look through the correct section for what you need help on.
can't find it? then post your question(s) in the propersection. just be sure not to double post similar questions in different sections.
oh yeah, luv the play on your screen name Jeff.

pics would be appreciated and if you get the swap going a running build is required (as in: encouraged so those of us with less $/tech exp can live vicariously through you)

Thanks guys!
After reading around the internet and talking to some people who know more about this then I do, I've decided just to rebuild the 4.3. Especially since I already have a pair of headers and custom exhaust built for it. And I know everything will fit
Pulled the bock out today and stripped everything out of it. Had a 25 year GM mechanic family friend look over the block and heads, said everything looked in good shape. Picked up a gasket set, new timing chain and gears, motor mounts, oil pump, freeze plugs, and ordered a new set of rings. Power washed block and heads and painted Chevy orange. Hopefully will start reassembly tonight!
