hello, i m a new member and i have a question about steering. i have an 88 s10 blazer that i put full size dana44 running gear under and i was curious if a 2wd astro van steering box would work and if its ez to install? i need my pitman arm to go towards the front because its close to my front pumpkin and it hits it when i flex too far. ive heard they r better and the pitman arms r pretty stout and r ez to fabricate to my application. any help please and il post pics when i get home.

welcome to the forum. Always like solid axle swaps. Unfortunately I don't know a whole lot about it. This thread will probably get moved to the 1st gen tech. (new member section is really only for introductions)

Welcome from New York. I also am not to sue, what you should do is possibly search out a member who has done an SAS an message them and or post up in the correct section if you have not done so already.
