Recently purchased a 94 s10 blazer. It has the 4.3 vortec, 4x4 and just about every option imaginable with, relatively low miles. Everything looked pretty good when I bought it. Found a major issue when trying to get it inspected, It appears the front 2 cab mounts (just below the driver and pass door) are completely rotted out. Not the rubber but , the stamped sheetmetal thats welded to the floorpan. Anyway, thats the big item, there are a few other odds and ends I'll be asking for advice with.

All in all, I paid $1700 for the thing, the drivetrain is still rock solid and the engine runs like its new. I figure its worth dropping some bucks into to make it really nice.

Just wanted to introduce myself, as youre most likely going to be seeing quite a few posts from me in the future.

Welcome. Best luck with the mounts. Sounds like you got a nice ride overall. Anywhere near Baltimore (I'll be there for the MDF at the Sonar in May).

welcome to the show, from Canada.

your cab mounts are pretty typical of all S-series trucks.

best of luck getting your new rig back on the road.

yeah, sometimes the search works for me, sometimes it doesnt. Its a matter of hitting on the right keyword. Being new to Blazers , I may know where the part is and what it does, not always exactly what its called. But I appreciate the patience and all the help.
