I have owned a 78 blazer for several years.I was wondering if it is possible to upgrade with springs,towing cam and hitch to tow a 26 ft,6200 lb camper.thanks,bt69tri

Yeah what ^he said^ (that's John btw)... anything is possible, try posting your question in hmmm General Tech Help, Steering, Suspension & Drivetrain - look around. It has a 350 I'd assume, possibly a TH350 trans, gearing unknown.
Springs I'd say air shocks or overload leafs, possibly air bags for the extra load.
Trans cooler for sure.
Depending on the condition of the engine & if it's a 350 I don't think you'd need a cam.
I'm not sure of the class of hitch for 6200lbs but at least a Class III if not IV, depending on tongue weight. Not to mention trailor brakes or possibly a pintle hitch.

OR leave your '78 as is & find a 3/4 ton on the cheap as the tow vehicle.
