Default New from St. Louis

Hey all,
Just started working on my wife’s '00 Bravada. Its gonna be my winter truck when she gets a new car. Originally I wanted a late 40'e early 50's GMC Pickup but my daily is now S/C'ed and too low to the ground for snow so I can no longer wait. Besides after seeing some of the rigs here I'm starting to get some ideas. (thanks Wolfpack)

I'm no stranger to getting grease under my nails as I have a bad habit of modding anything and everything I get my hands on. I use to own a shop/consignment warehouse. We built a lot of muscle cars and helped build and tune a few imports. Personally I've had several 70's and 80's Chevy's, a mopar or two a pile of Japanese bikes and several Toyota cars as daily drivers. I'm also no stranger to the internet/automotive forums. I've been Admin and a resident technerd on toyotanation.com for the past 7-8 years. Spent a few years on corvetteforum with my C3 too.

My goal here is to learn as much as I can about the truck (enough to keep it running for a good long while) and contribute back to the community in anyway I can.

Plans for the Bravada include a lift and tires for now. Maybe a roof basket and this and that here and there. As far as I am concerned on this project, the dents and scrapes add character. [sm=smiley16.gif]

kiwiblazer - Where abouts in NZ? I lived in Southern Otago on a farm in Beaumont for a few years. Hands down, NZ is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Auckland. North Shore. I last visited Otago about 1990! Must go down there again sometime. Beautiful country. Especially to do off roading.
