New from texas
Well I have been a member for awhile but never post here. I just picked up a 1988 two door, 4x4, 2.8L, auto S10 blazer. I got a good deal on it but it needs alot of work. Lets go down the list.
You have a hit the head light for it to come on. (ok not joking)
Every gasket that can leak old is.
The motor has a small knock. (I think its a wrist pin)
I cant tell if the 4x4 system is working.
But there is alot of good things to. Like the body is a 10 out of a 10. THe inside is a 8 out of a 10. ANd there is not a drop of rust on the truck.
Ill try to get some pics up but not sure where I can find a cam from.

actuator is under the battery tray, went thru this last winter with my first gen was merely a bad vacuum line replaced all the vacuum lines under the hood while I was at it (chances are if one is bad the others are most likely just as old and due to go as well) its cheap enough and way easy to do. My 13 y.o. did most of it while I walked him thru it lol he's dead set on learning all he can now which imo is a great idea.

Hey Shane, welcome.
Check out this link for a fix if your 4WD vacuum actuator is not working.
