Well, willful destruction of property is a felony offense. That's probably what atleast one of the charges are...

 

You guys are about 2-2.5 hours to the east of me.

 

Here in Michigan as well as other snow states...snowmobiling is one of the prime sources for winter tourisim...keeps little towns open all year long..there are miles and miles of trails...well maintained by private and state tax dollars...even in the summer snowmobile trails are only fro snowmobiles...the reason being...as the poster of this tread demonstrates..is off roaders have a bad history of destroying trails...ruts...and other nastiness...they have to go through and grade the ruts out and prepare the trails...like I said a lot of time and money goes into them. Not all off roaders are bad..but unfortunately the way Michigan's permit system works...technicaly you can only be on off road designated trails...and Lenny...even in the Great ol UP....ya still have to mind yourself if a trail is tagged for smowmobile only...(like any one can patrol the whole UP) anyways.....that's why

Welcome to othe forum. That isridiculous that they charged you with a felony for that. The cops have too much time on their hands or something.

 

yea i live ryte on the snomobile trail in durhamville, along the canal and they dont even let us run a quad down them its pretty quazy, thank god i have freinds down in the muckland with lots of land.
