Newb to the forum, not to the Blazer
Howdy folks!
Just picked up Blazer #5 (had a '91 4 door with true duals and no cat, ran awesome til i totalled it with 265k, a '93 with the same exhaust setup, a '95 with a V8 conversion I couldn't afford to finish, a '99 Jimmy and an '07 TB) Finally found the rare unicorn '97 5 Spd 2 door 4x4. G80 3.42 posi, ZM6 suspension, sun roof...162k miles and CLEAN, runs great, picked it up for $1900. Been going over everything the last few weeks, Gabriel Ultra shocks on all four corners, new u-joints, fuel lines/filter/pump, Bosch Double Platinum Plugs & Premium Wires, Bosch 02 sensors, Cap 'n Rotor, Duals with Thunderbolt Hi-Flow Cats & Turbo II's, an Ebay Cold Air Intake and probably a few other things I can't remember. Oh yeah, sealed-beam to composite headlight conversion, a black grille and new taillight covers. Actually waiting on a fuel pump and then duals next Monday. Should be a fun unit. Anybody got a similar setup? HP and Mileage on it?
