Newbie Here!
Hello All,
I'm a newbie here on the BlazerForum. I just purchased a really sweet 97 LS four door with only 68,000 miles after my Aztek was totaled. While not new to S series vehicles (I've repaired several for other family members), I am new to actual ownership or one.
I always seek out great sources of information for my interests (I belong to a great Vulcan forum as well as a forum for my deceased Aztek). I find the people to be genuine and honest and usually fall all over themselves to help others. So no pressure, but I expect no less here
!
Thanks for allowing me in your midst.
Joe

Wow! A response from Texas and one from way down under! Kind of makes this little HillBilly from West Virginia feel humble.
Thanks for the warm reception. I'm just getting the feel for the truck right now - learning it's little quirks. I do have a squeaky belt that is driving me up the wall (it has a new belt and tensioner pulley) and the front end sounds like it's bound up when crossing over a large bump (railroad tracks) where both front wheels move up and down slowly and at the same time. It just may need a good greasing.
Other than that, just make sure if you ever purchase a car from a dealer, go over everything carefully when you get her home. I found a bunch of clips, covers undone as well as two tabs of the brake reservoir popped up when I got it home. Two of the clips were routing clips for the accelerator cables which caused a catch when depressing the pedal.
Anyway, thanks for looking in and I hope to get better acquainted soon.
