Decided to join today and ask a few questions about the front suspension on my 99 GMC Jimmy 2wd; just rolled over 150k miles and lately the steering has started to go numb and the truck wanders back and forth on the highway more than normal. Possible the whole steering linkage may need work? Bushings? Thanks in advance for any help, in the mean time I'm going to start searching the posts on here.

 

i had my ball joints, idler arm, tie-rods, pitman arm all replaced at 145000.... when i had all the rest of my work done...
