newbie Into and Question
Hello All, I just bought my 16 yr old son a 1998 LS 4x4 with 68,000 miles
It is our first blazer and also our first Chevy. We had it about 2 weeks now and we really like it except for the gas mileage, but you can't have it all.
Question: replacing rear pads and rotors tomorrow just wandering if anybody had any Tips, suggestions or special tools or anything that might help With the Job or maybe something else to look for while I'm in that area.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum!
There are a few threads discussing the fun job of replacing rear pads and rotors on these trucks. If you still have questions after you find them, post up in the 2nd Gen Tech section and we'll do our best to answer your questions for you!

Welcome to the forum.
If for any reason, you need an internet adopted son, I'm free to take on new father figures.... my sweet 16 was a couple of years ago, but beggers can't be choosers
Also take a look at this thread: ITS LONG! <-- CLICK THIS this is a LOT of bitching about minor things, but it will give you a very good idea of what to look for, keep an eye on, and read up on in order to be prepared for anything she may throw at you. Wait, what am I saying? Make your son read it! he will need to know this stuff too!
BTW: big score on the 98 with 68k on the clock!!
