Hey all I've been working on a 97 jimmy 4x4 4.3l vortec. A buddy is trying to get rid of it. Steering column was replaced cause of wiring issue in the column. when u turn the key over there is nothing. I have power to the starter with someone turning the key, dash lights come on and I can here the f/p kick on. But learned that the alarm system was removed from the truck. Is there way to bypass the security system or should I look elsewhere? Appreciate any input and hope all is well.
