Default noob needing advice

Hey everybody, I am new to the forum tonight and bought my first ever Blazer last night. I'm stoked. 94 K1500 sport. I would like to begin learning about the basics--such as details about the engine and tranny etc. Which areas of the forum should I begin to look at? I plan to get started on some maintenance too. Any direction there would be appreciated. Fluid types and volumes would be helpful. I did not receive any owners manual with this unit so I don't have much to go on.

Welcome from NY... Id start using the search feature. Most topics have been covered already. AN other good spot is the tech section on the main page.

Welcome from Michigan... If you cant find the info you need on the forum, then call a dealer and have them decifer the VIN and if you can find the RPO codes (maybe in the glove box) then have the codes decifered then that will tell you exactly what componets you have... Good luck!!!

Welcome from Florida. My Blazer didn't come with the owner's manual either, but you can buy one on Ebay. It was cheap and I'm glad I have it.

Enjoy the Forum though, it's pretty awesome.
