not really new
Hey all, I am on my second chevy.
The first one was a 1984 S-10 with a 5speed. I wish I still had it. Now I have a 1997 Blazer. I am used to dealing with Mo par K cars. I am still learning everything I can about Gm Engines and such.
My blazer is a bronze 4 door LS, 4l60E with 4wd. I like that fact that it has a floor shifter. I plan to either install a coil-over kit from SyTy or do a solid front axle conversion. Definitely in the future it will be getting a 5 speed manual and a 5.7l v8. Of course headers and such will be in the mix. I also plan to upgrade to a six speaker sound system that has USB capabilities with HD radio. I am going to do a four link in the rear. I want my blazer to be a sleeper that I can take to the beach or the desert, maybe even some light muddin'.
I spent 8 years in the navy, 4 1/2 of those working on gas turbine engines for ship propulsion and electric generation. After i worked at a wire and cable where i learned how to weld and machine. Then I graduated from culinary school. Now I am back in school pursuing engineering. I have a web site the url is http://www.molecularwater.webs.com...check it out. I don't want to sell anything just communicate.
