Hey Everybody, my name is Dave and I'm finally getting on here for more than just tech support for my 2000 Jimmy SLT 4x4x4. Its been in my family since my uncle bought it new in 1999. I grew up overseas so my Dad bought it when we came back to the US and they were heading to Germany in 2002. I have been a rifle platoon leader for the Army here in El Paso, TX for a year and a half now and this Christmas when I was in the market for a new vehicle that could be put to use in the rugged conditions out here, my dad offered the Jimmy to me so I brought it down and its become one of my "toys" along with two other cars and 2 motorcycles which is is now the tow vehicle for on weekend riding trips. I've started modding the truck so I'll create a build thread in the appropriate section as it comes together.
