I purchased my 86 S-10 in 1986 and I still have it. (I also have my first car - a 1974 Peugeot 504 diesel wagon.) Life forced me to put it in storage so it has under 100,000 miles. Usual problem of the exhaust header leaking but that was fixed.
I am interested in getting my baby back on the road - after I get my parents through cancer, heart issues, and covid. I am here to learn more about what to look out for and hopefully guidance when I finally get to work on it. It has been a while since I have been able to enjoy it.

It will need a major fluid draining, tire replacement and as it has been in the desert I am finding all the rubber lines will need replaced. At least it was inside and protected from sun, just not heat and dryness.
I suspect the suspension will need work as the lift is a body lift, not supporting the tires.
At least it will be easy to work on as soon as I can move the volvo.
