Had/have a 94 blazer that was a work vehicle from 2007 till I rescued out of a parking lot back in May. Didn't move but 3 times from 2009 to May of 2017. Was looking to roll as a winter beater after totally replacing the fuel holding/delivery system, and a few other safety items for stopping. Body is a mess with holes and two compromised body mounts. Rusty doors and rears. But its been on the roads racking up mileage since beginning of August.
Came upon a frame totaled 93 jimmy with 43k. Mint body and interior. Was thinking of frame swapping with my Blazer, but sourcing a solid frame from a salvage yard is my first goto . Frame shop fellow told me straightening what I have would be not a good idea, and the extra work with removing frame twice is not a tea event since I am lacking space and a lift. Body is solid with minor dent on the roof from the a-pillar area going up and in. Frameguy said that could get pulled once on a straight donor frame. Its ***** out from here. Do my best to start a build thread. I'll be perusing the webs of info on this site in the meantime.
