Questions?????
I have a 98 jimmy that was stolen and wrecked. the frame is bent and the engine is blown. I have another 94 S10 blazer. I was wanting to know the difference in the frames of the two mentioned autos. I would like to take the body off the 98 and put it on the 94 frame. using the short block of the 94 and the intake system of the 98 onto the 94 short block 4.3 liter. both are vortecs. however i do know that one uses a spider assembly while the other uses a throttle body. I dont think there will be any problem just using the short block of the 94 spider assembly engine. any information will be of great help. will the frame be the same. thank you
The frames are very much different. Also, the blocks are different between the 94 and the 98. You would have to use the heads up to the throttle body to have any hope of it working and then you will run into problems with getting the knock sensor and the timing chain cover (with the crank position sensor) to fit...
