Sorta New... My Story

Yea that was one sweet truck! Pity about it standing next to the Mustang though. That's the only Ford I'd ever buy. Beautiful.
Oh yes - the Blazer LOL, New one is good too & on the plus side, you've got something to do with it. This time make it even better.
Glad you at least were able to walk away.
Before I forget, welcome from New Zealand - the land of Right Hand Blazers!

Another warm welcome from New Zealand.
Glad that you walked away with no injuries, now you'll have to make this one better than the first.

You remind me of what happened to me... sort of anyway. I used to have an s10 and it got totaled almost the same way your zr2 did. I loved my truck... I wanted another s10 but decided I hall people more than I do stuff so I got a blazer instead. The one difference between you and me thou is i never saw myself driving a pickup truck or an suv... and the s10 was a hand-me-down and I loved it. I'd much rather have my blazer than any car. I used to want a bmw but my best friend has one and he can't drive anywhere when it snows or drive offroad anywhere. welcome to the forum

Ok, couple of things:
My new blazer that i have seems to be "just an LS" and not a ZR2??
is there such thing? i think there is.
reason im saying this is because, one: there are no ZR2 decals, which i know could have been taken off and two: it sits ALOT lower than my first one.
with that being said, i know on my first one i had 32" tires and on this one i have 31" but would that make a huge difference? as far as i know my first blazer wasn't cranked and didn't have shackles.
At the same time, if the new blazer didn't have a ZR2 frame i wouldn't be able to fit 31" tires would I?
idk, i just am curious, and kinda want my height back.
the second thing I was wondering if anyone had used Krylon fusion to repaint fenders and/or bumpers. good idea? yay or nay?
i'm trying to save money without cutting TOO many corners.

are you sure they are 31s. cause they would rub if they were on a stock blazer. (not a zr2), zr2 came stock with 31s. not sure where you're getting the 32....

I am postitive that my first blazer had 32" and i am also positive that my blazer now has 31" tires.
I guess it is a true ZR2, just shorter than my first one.
My 31" Mickey Thompsons on my current Blazer

My 32" Cooper Discoverer on my first Blazer
