Southern blazer newbie
Hello all, I just picked up a 99 4 door 2wd. This is the nicest vehicle I've owned so far, so I'd have to say I love it! I've got lots of plans for it, and hopefully it'll give me years of enjoyment.
Any suggestions for popular upgrades/fixes for common problems? Input is welcome and appreciated.
Pics will be here soon! Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the site. Popular upgrades for a 2wd are drop kits. Like Belltech 2-3 drop kit or doing a whole Air ride set up. Also AEM or K&N instake system and doing a custom Magna flow or Flowmaster cat back exhaust.

Well, as far as plans go, I LOVE the look of Prerunner trucks, but everything I've found as far as lifts only works up to 97 blazers... [sm=boosign.gif]
I won't really be doing any heavy off-roading (wish there were desert flats in South Mississippi [sigh] ) but just some odds and ends where an extra 2 inches or so would be nice, like hopping a curb or driving through a shallow ditch every once and again.
I saw some 30x10.50s on a truck here and liked the looks of them, so I'll probably look into some tires that'll suit my purposes in that range. I might go smaller than that, but I liked the agressive width of the grips that I found.
I found a full stainless 2.5" light bar for the front on eBay for a decent price, so I'll probably be picking up one of those as well.
Thanks for all the responses, and I'll definitely be enjoying my stay. [8D]
