Good evening all, my names Tony and the wife's name is Karen, we have just bought a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer LT, it's a right hand drive which is handy as my wife cant cope with left hand drive, it has a few things wrong with it but I will have it up and running soon

picked it up last Monday from near Stockport. was on eBay and as they say I made him an offer he couldn't refuse.





it did have a smashed rear quarter light but soon got that ordered and fitted.

and it does have some nasty bits on the body


it also has a couple of minor (fingers crossed) mechanical issues, needs a new power steering pump and pulley (ordered from the U.S should be delivered Monday) also needs new back box on exhaust and fuel filler neck as this one is rusted out, ah and it wont select 4 wheel drive and the service 4 wheel drive light is on
any one know how to service it as I haven't got a clue?

I saw that Blazer on Ebay and was going to buy it as its the same colour as my one but was too far to travel.
If you want any of the parts that you said it requires then just give me a shout as I'm dismantling a RHD Blazer.

 

Thanks, was a lot worse than it looked on eBay, have done a lot to it all ready but I do still have a list of parts I still need to get.....

tailgate interior panel including the handle
luggage / load space cover
fuel filler neck
4 tyres

and then there's the things that don't work properly that I need to sort out

4 wheel drive service light is on
stuck in 2 wheel drive
radio works but only through one speaker
waiting for FedEx to deliver my power steering pump and pulley
I have a couple of small hoses just sort of hanging there not doing very much that I need to find out where they should be

as I say lots to be getting on with
