ok so first off is it even possible to put a turbo on a 1993 4.3 litter vortec two wheel drive. second would it destroy the engine or tranny. third what kind could fit it????

 

im not 100% sure about the pre '96 vortec's but i know with '96+ vortec's to have a turbo you need the marine intake if you want the turbo to do anything. so to answer your question, yes you can but you will need to do some research to see in the marine intake would fit on your engine. And as far as destroying your engine and tranny that all depends on how many miles you have on them and what you boost the turbo to.

 

Yes it's possible, the syclone and Typhoon are 91-93 models with a turbo. Search and you will probably find more info.

 

you can turbo or supercharge just about anything you just have to have a good tune and fuel system the good ol 4.3 can handle 350 hp no problems just make sure you do your homework when buying parts
