Default VORTECH TURBO

hey yall i was pondering about a turbo kit for the blazer, because it has a strong motor and tranny, so running 5 lbs of boost would be no problem i would assume.

Heres the set up-
A volvo turbo
forge intercooler
custom intercooler piping
tial waste gate
greddy blow off valve
greddy boost controller
greddy turbo timer
custom turbo manifold
AND A CRAP LOAD OF INOVATION

for 5 lbs you wouldent need electric boost controll. I think our compression is 9.2:1 no? That is very boost friendly. Maybe just a turbo with built in wastegate/spring gate (some IHI series) also consider size of turbo relative to airflow requirements of a 4.3l, too small turbo will not be good. Something the size of a GT25 would work.
Go to http://not2fast.wryday.com/turbo/glo...rbo_calc.shtml for an online calculater with maps. Also remember to put in 5500 max rpm. Good luck.
