ive been just wondering how do i get my jimmy to go into 4lo? ive tried the put in neutral and press and release that doesnt do anything. ive also tried the put in nuetral and roll very slowly and press and release the button that doesnt work either. but i can get it to go in to 4hi easily. any ideas?

Maybe you have a vacuum line off? Try rolling in 4hi, switch tranny to neutral while slowly rolling like you said, and then press 4lo just before it stops rolling. If that doesn't work, you have some kinda issue. What year is it?

its a 95 gmc jimmy. ill try that later today.

it has to be in park......put it in park..and when you go to shift to drive it will engage.....but what the heck do you need to use 4 low for?

I wouldn't go more than 10 and only on dirt or loose ground.
